My Home Office is equipped with a high-speed broadband DSL connection, battery backup, and nearly a terabyte of internal and firewire hard disk storage. We have redundant systems, backups, as well as long-term CD/DVD-ROM based offsite backups.
Update 04.02.18 - Thanks to my good friend Rick, I was able to add a 1.33 GHz 17-inch Powerbook G4 to my stable of laptops and equipment last Christmas. It is absolutely gorgeous, and the 17" display gives me a lot of room to work very comfortably from anywhere - in fact at the moment I'm relaxed in my cozy recliner with my laptop on my lap! It is indeed IMHO the best mobile computer on the planet! (that is until Apple makes a G5 laptop!)
I do most of my work using my unix-based 800 mhz Macintosh Powerbook G4, running Eclipse, CodeWarrior, Apache, MySQL, and the hi-performance Resin servlet container:
The Apple Titanium Powerbook G4
Definitely the Hottest Mobile Computer on the Planet ;-)

For anyone who hasn't kept up with the Mac, Apple has also made tremendous advances with OS X (prounounced OS ten) and the latest version of the operating system, Jaguar, adds a ton of new features, easy of use, and stability to the rock-solid reliability of a Unix-based system.
I feel like an Apple commercial ;-)
I've had the pleasure of using a laptop for about a year and a half now, and to coin a phrase ;-)
Once You Go Mac, You'll Never Go Back!
I also have a Windows 2KPro box running IIS for Active Server Pages and Microsoft Access Databases, Virtual PC for the Mac running Win2KPro, 98, XP, and Linux for multi-platform testing.
I also own 2 additional Mac laptops (a G4/400 tibook, and a G3/500 ibook), and can/do run Apache, MySQL, Resin, PERL, JAMES, and Tomcat, depending on the project.
If your project requires hi-performance servlet, database, or JSP hosting, I also operate http://www.jqkserv2.net and http://www.jqkserv.net for this purpose.
